A good landscape photo can lose its subject when forced into a portrait post. This resizer lets you choose a destination canvas, move the focal point and compare crop or contain mode before downloading. It changes a flattened image; it does not rearrange editable Canva layers.
Reuse a product photograph as a square feed post and a vertical Story. Keep the product in the central safe area, and use contain mode when you must preserve text near the edges.
Enlarging an image does not recover missing detail. Safe-area overlays are approximate composition guides, not guaranteed platform boundaries. They are excluded from the exported file.
Keep an untouched original and inspect the result at the size your audience will see. If your next step is a new layout, explore free Canva templates. For additional context, read the related design guide or collection.
No. Export your design from Canva first. This tool processes the exported image locally and creates a new image file.
The tool processes supported inputs in your browser. This plugin does not upload your working images or text. Other scripts installed by a site owner follow their own privacy policies.
